UV Absorbers
UV Absorbers protect materials from ultraviolet light (or UV rays). These absorbers can be commonly found in tape, label, adhesives, polymer and rubber paints, coatings and inks, food packaging, resins, and film.

We offer UV-Pro 2920, a slightly yellow, liquid hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS), which provides excellent light stability. The absorber is a blend of two active ingredients which keeps the product liquid. It can be used in waterborne and UV curable coatings, as well as in a variety of polymeric systems (ie. acrylics, wood stains, DIY paints, phenolics, vinyls, alkyds, polyesters, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyurethane, etc.)
The dispersion of UV-Pro 2920 in water borne coatings (such as acrylics, etc) can be facilitated by dilution with a water miscible solvent such as butylcarbitol.
